JOINN (Beijing) Awarded AAALAC Accreditation

Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) International is a private, non-profit organization that promotes the humane treatment of animals in science through voluntary accreditation and assessment programs. In China, there are no more than 10 institutions which have been awarded AAALAC Accreditation. Until 2008, among the 26 GLP-accredited laboratories in China, only 3 of them are AAALAC accredited. The AAALAC consultant group inspected JOINN (Beijing) on June 25th and granting JOINN (Beijing) the certification in October.
